Because the files are small they are all in ONE ZIP file.
Offering this old software, directly in EXE format, and ONLY for old 16-bit DOS, is not appreciated by many providers. Previously my site was put on "black" because of spreading malware, which is absolutely NOT true. As an extra security, the ZIP is now on my internal old Home-Server. This is NOT an "https://" type, but simply "http://". It is a trusted server, there is NOTHING wrong with it. If needed, click TRUSTED server or KEEP during download The software is intended for the very oldest PC-XT models. There are NO programmed delay loops in it, everything works with so-called "runtime-delays". Especially the programmer software will NOT work flawlessly on CPUs of the type 386SX-16 or faster. See the timing measurements tests on this site. With some hardware adjustments it is still possible to make it work on 386 and slow 486SX boards. |
