AliExpress Ferrite toroid information and Shops |
Informatie over enkele ALI ontstoor ringkernen, meestal groen. Vele Philips e.a. ook erbij ter vergelijk. UK, Frankrijk, Duitsland. ==================== Information about some ALI interference suppression toroids, usually green. Lots of Philips et al. for comparison. Dutch decimal is used. The L in the table below is measured with the Mastech LCR meter with N = 10. AL = 10x measured uH value. AL is in nH/turn or mH/1000 turns The material ui value was calculated from this using DL5SWB software. After discovering the arithmetic trick using N = 10 and an RCL meter to obtain a directly identifiable ferrite AL meter, this was reported to the editors of Elektor, who immediately wrote an article about it. The low measuring frequency of such an RCL meter - 1 kHz, 10 kHz and sometimes for low AL also 100 kHz - is ideal for measuring in the "straight" initial part of the ui characteristic. It is absolutely WRONG to measure ferrite cores with an HF oscillator or on a dipper, as others did!!! In this Dutch article you can read the Eureka moment of PE1ABR in Elektor for more background information about a direct indicating AL meter. PDF also available in the international Elektor versions!! UK version, French, and in German. |
